Here is a shot of the original ship called the Aquila:

We ought to be able to model this using SPAD principles.  It is rudder/elevator only which means we could build a nice 2-mil wing without having to worry about ailerons.  The 2-mil wing would make for a light floater ship.

The plans for the SPADQuila should be done sometime in Summer 2002.

The original ship pictured above has a flying horizontal stab as well as a flying vertical stab.  This means that the entire stabilizers move when you hit the sticks on the radio transmitter.  We will try to duplicate this in the SPADQuila, but don't hold your breath.  It may be very difficult to duplicate this aspect of the original Aquila.
